Eco Nuts, an environmentally friendly cleaning products company, was voted the “Best New Green Product” for its Large Laundry Detergent by the 22,000 attendees at the Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore last week. Eco Nuts was also presented with the “NEXTY” award in the Natural Living category (voted on earlier this year); the NEXTY celebrates companies shaping the future of natural and organic products.

Eco Nuts debuted its now three-year-old USDA certified organic product line of soap nuts and green cleaners earlier this year at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. Expo West is the world’s largest and premiere tradeshow for the natural and organic products industry while Expo East is the East Coast equivalent. NEXTY nominations were given to 51 companies at Expo West 2012 which NEXT Forecast 2013 experts identified as key leaders and influencers shaping the future of the natural products landscape.
